Murray River Gourmet Salt Flakes are produced from ancient saline waters sourced from underground aquifers in Australia’s Murray Darling Basin region.
By intercepting these underground aquifers, which would otherwise enter the Murray River, we are contributing to
the effort in combatting Australia’s inland salinity problem. The ancient saline water contains naturally occurring minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium and iodine which are beneficial in our diet.
These minerals are attributed to creating a stunning pink hued salt flake that is subtle in flavour and delicate in texture.
